As touched on in some of my most recent posts, the Internet has given learners nearly unlimited access to the world’s knowledge. I love taking advantage of this opportunity, but I have also found myself becoming overwhelmed with the amount of resources. I have also felt discouraged because I cannot read all the articles and absorb all the information I am interested in. Sometimes I get lost in all the options and end up not reading into a single one. To recover from this, I regularly step back to review my practices. I delete and reorganize my apps, cleanup my bookmarks, unsubscribe from unneeded emails, unfollow certain feeds and forgive myself for not knowing everything. I find that when I take the time to reflect, I am able to focus on the next step required to reach my goals and I can sort through the noise to utilize my PLN to its full potential.
